Aterovis, Josh: All Lost Things
Killian Kendall, amatuer slueth, is going professional. Now working for a
seasoned private investigator, Killian takes on a case that is puzzling as it is horrifying. Did a young boy really murder his abusive father with a ax, or
is someone getting away with a gruesome murder.
Aterovis, Josh: A Change of Worlds
When Killian takes on an investigation into a series of thefts from a Native
American archaeological site as a favor for an old friend, he never dreamed it would escalate into violence and murder. What started out as a seemingly
simple favor for a friend now has much higher stakes than missing artifacts. One person is dead, one injured, and lives are on the line...including
Killian's.
Things aren't exactly smooth sailing in Killian's private life either. Micah has given him a huge choice to make, but Asher's
reappearance has only clouded Killian's decision. Who will he choose?
Aterovis, Josh: The Truth of Yesterday
The past is much more powerful than we often realize. It affects our present in
ways we can't even begin to imagine, echoing back over us like ripples in a pond. For Killian Kendall, private investigator, his own unresolved past
refuses to leave him alone. And his new love's hidden past could prove to be more deadly than anyone ever imagined. Can he uncover the truth before the
past destroys their future?

Gored, Jon A: ~Dreamers Of The Day
This book is the ultimate collision of the Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle with lots of
money and even more weirdness. Musician Pete Astor writes a number which is so good that it gets his ass fired off a tour and out of his band. His
recording company is worried about being sued by the grasping relatives of impressionable people who take his brand of Black Magic Rock too seriously, and
not prepared to take any risks.
Astor has allies, however. One of them provides material support for his schemes
to go his own way and create trouble, the rest are more than willing to join in the trouble-making. But on that front, there are people with their own
agendas, who are eager to make trouble for Pete Astor. This is a big book [500+ pages] with a whole lot happening in it. And it's wrapped around a whole
philosophy of life. Check it out!
Voted provisional Book Of The Century, with due regard for the fact that the
20th Century still has the rest of the year 2000 to run.
Turner, Philip: ~Storm Tide
The story begins with a couple of introductory pages of history from the time of
the Spanish Armada [1588 and all that] onwards, then gets on with a robbery in modern times [well, 1984 - when the book was written].
In fact, the book is all about two sets of people, who are out of the main
stream of life for one reason or another. Each group has its preoccupations, and the activities of Jeremy Haig and his friends become of interest to the
guys who carried out the robbery - the Fantony brothers.
Some readers have expressed surprise at how the interactions between Haig and
Barry Fantony progress. They report being satisfied with the outcome when they reached the end of the book but surprised to find out that what they were
expecting to happen never does.
But that's life all over.
